Fantastic Coffee Recipe Ideas by Eric Slarkowski

There are many advantages associated with drinking coffee, it’s a very ancient and exciting drink which is loved by people all around the world.

There are many different types of coffee, from Caribbean, Mexican, grog and Cuban cubano the list is virtually endless. These are not as simple as the coffee you may make in the morning with your one cup coffee maker, but far more enjoyable!

Caribbean coffee is a little different to other common coffee drinks, however that doesn’t mean that it’s not as nice. You first need to bake a coconut for thirty minutes at 134C, see I told you it was strange! You should then allow the coconut to cool down, crack the shell and spoon out the flesh. Grate the flesh and mix it with the coconut milk and half a cup of cow’s milk, heat it up until it thickens slightly. Now strain the mixture so that there are no pieces of coconut left. Mix the mixture with your coffee and enjoy! Not quite the type of coffee you’d make in your coffee maker if you only wanted one cup, but far nicer!

A Mexican mocha is like any other mocha, it is a nice blend of chocolate and coffee which work extremely well together. To make a Mexican mocha you simply need to take a teaspoon of chocolate syrup, and mix it with a quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour this mixture into your coffee and enjoy! Add white sugar until it tastes how you like it. You can also add some whipped cream on top!

Cubano is a very interesting drink, it’s drunk straight down like a shot. If you’re not used to this then you might want to dilute it a little with warm milk or rum. Add as much rum as you like, but too much milk will stop it tasting as nice.

Grog is a traditional drink for holiday times in England. To make this you need to peel an orange and separate the segments, do the same with a lemon. Put some of the peel in the bottom of the cup, add one third of a tablespoon of butter, a pinch of nutmeg and a tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix with half a cup of coffee and stir well, add cream until it’s right for you.

Coffee is loved by people all around the world, there are many different variations which are delicious.

For a Viennese coffee you simply need to put one eighth of a cup of dark chocolate into a sauce pan and start to melt it, add in one table spoon of light cream and mix well. Then slowly add half a cup of coffee, whip it so that it’s frothy. Sprinkle some cinnamon and cocoa powder over the top for decoration.

A Turkish coffee is very simple, it’s much easier if you buy one of the special pots which they traditionally use to make coffee. They actually boil the coffee, so it is very strong. It pays to get high quality freshly ground Turkish coffee. Put a cup of water and half a teaspoon of sugar into the pot, then boil the mixture. Add one teaspoon of the coffee and put it back on the heat, when the mixture starts to foam remove it from the heat and allow it to cool.

Vietnam drink iced coffee, it’s truly unique. It is actually surprisingly easy, you should grind the coffee, put it into the coffee press, pour a tablespoon of condensed milk into the cup, pour boiling water over the coffee, stir it and add some ice.

If you don’t fancy making all of these types of coffee by yourself, why don’t you visit these destinations so that the locals can do all the hard work for you?
