can anyone tell me how to cook sweet potatoes and there is a way to peel a turnip by putting it in the microwa
Does anyone know how long you put a turnip in the microwave so that you can peel the wax off the outside easily. Thanks for any help
I cook the whole turnip in the microwave. Wrap it in paper towels and cook on high for about 1/2 an hour, turning after 15 minutes. I say ‘about’ because it depends on the size of the turnip & the power of the microwave. When time is up, carefully remove from microwave using oven mitts and wrap in foil for another half an hour. Then cut turnip in half and scoop out pulp and mash with desired seasonings.
